Haryana Student Free Bus Pass Yojana: Happy Card scheme was started by the Haryana government for poor families. Under this card, 1000 km of free bus travel facility is being provided every year. In such a situation, the Haryana government has taken another big step in this scheme and decided to make this card available to all students. Now students will be given the facility of 500 km free bus travel every year through Happy Card.

 

Happy Card Yojana Kay Hai ?

Happy Card is being provided to poor families by the Haryana government under the Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana. Families whose annual income is less than 1 lakh rupees can avail the benefits of Happy Card under the Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana. Haryana government provides 1000 km of travel per year on Happy Card.

The state government is constantly striving to improve the quality of education. Under this, new schemes and facilities are being started for the students. The benefit of the “Happy Card” scheme will be available to students of all private schools along with government schools. The government is planning to provide “Happy Card” to students who score 60 percent or more marks in the board examinations of class 10th and 12th. Through this card, students will be able to travel free up to 500 kilometers in Haryana Roadways buses.

More than 85 lakh girl students will get Happy Cards

According to the government’s plan, if students score 60% or more marks in class 10th and 12th, then “Happy Cards” will be made for them. Through this, these students will be able to travel free in government buses. On March 7, the state government started giving the benefit of “Happy Card Scheme” for families with an annual income of Rs 1 lakh or less. Under this scheme, there is a plan to distribute cards to about 85 lakh beneficiaries in the state. Before the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, cards were given to 59,708 people, who have traveled a total of 37.88 lakh kilometers.

Now this facility will also be available to school students, especially those who have scored 60% or more marks in class 10th and 12th. The state government is planning to provide ‘Happy Card’ to such meritorious students, so that they can travel free up to 500 km in Haryana Roadways buses. The government has directed the Education and Transport Department to prepare the necessary data for this scheme, so that the scheme can be implemented without delay. The report prepared by the Education Department will be sent to the Transport Department, where ‘Happy Card’ will be manufactured.
