Haryana government will give gas cylinder for Rs 500 to Antyodaya women.

The Haryana government has taken a unique initiative to improve the living standards of women and provide them with clean fuel. Under the Har Ghar-Har Grihini scheme, women from BPL (below poverty line) and Antyodaya families will be provided LPG cylinders every month at a subsidized rate of just ₹500.

योजना का उद्देश्य

The main objective of this scheme is to provide relief to women from poor and low-income families from traditional and smoke-emitting fuels. This will not only help in protecting their health but will also provide them with a clean and safe environment.

कैसे करें रजिस्ट्रेशन?

• Women from Antyodaya families can register by visiting the official portal of the scheme.
• For the convenience of women in rural areas, registration is also being done through CSC (Common Service Centre).

पात्रता

• Only those women can avail the benefit of the scheme whose annual income is Rs 1.80 lakh or less.
• Families who have received LPG connection under the Ujjwala Yojana can also avail the benefits of this scheme.

पानीपत जिले में योजना का प्रभाव

More than 47,285 LPG connections have already been given in Panipat district under the Ujjwala scheme. There are 39 gas agencies active in the district, which ensures that there is no shortage of LPG supply.

DFSC (District Food and Supply Controller) Neetu said that there is tremendous enthusiasm among women about the scheme and a large number of women are getting registered.

Har Ghar-Har Grihini Yojana is an extension of the Ujjwala Yojana. Under the Ujjwala Yojana, gas connections are already being given to poor families for ₹ 500. Now under this new scheme, gas refill is also being made available every month at a subsidized rate.
